To begin this OSRS adventure, Sins of the Father it is recommended go towards the Church in Slepe and then speak with Veliaf Hurtz. To reach Slepe you can use the Drakan's Medallion to transport yourself into Ver Sinhaza, then simply head upwards to the desired location. You could also use your Ectophial to teleport, and use Andras rowboat and travel north. That's why we advise taking the extra gold, since you could have to fork out 10,000 coins in order to complete the task. Alternatively, you can make use of it as a teleporter and go through Port Phasmatys, where you can find Slepe towards the South.

Whatever way you choose to travel to get there, you must first talk directly with Veliaf Hurtz. Then, he'll inform you that the Sleeper Plague is ravaging the town, in which residents are unable to wake from their sleeping. You'll then be charged with finding out what's causing the illnessand also checking out the church.

The Church

In the church, you will have to talk to Hameln the Jester. He will inform you that the person he was with had a heart attack after drinking at the pub, so that's where we'll go in the coming days. Go southeast from the church to the pub, then speak to Carl regarding the beer. Carl isn't very helpful in providing the information you require, so walk out and check the barrel that is behind the pub to start an opening scene. This will lead you to follow Carl to the dungeon in the centre of town You'll need be cautious not to get taken in by him. He will turn around on occasion, so make sure to locate a safe place whenever he does. If he does see the person you are hiding, you'll have to begin again at the beginning.

Carl and Carl on his way to Dungeon

If you'd like to avoid being spotted, first enter the church, and hide around the doors facing north until the man passes. Continue to the north and take cover behind the trees you come across, then you can go back to the trees by the gallows once you are in the town's central area. Hang around until he enters the graveyard, and cover yourself behind the trees at the graveyard's entrance.

After you manage to get into the dungeon and not get arrested, another cutscene is set to take you into a fight with Kroy. Keep close to him while fighting, and he'll change between melee and magic when attacking, as well throwing bottles at you which can make you weaker and make you vulnerable, so be cautious. It is important to protect yourself from magic because magic is more potent and has higher damage output. Avoid him as much as you can while staying close. Whilst you are here, destroy the lab tables in order to free up time before leaving, otherwise you'll be required to enter the dungeon again afterward. To locate the lab, just walk along the western wall and it will show up.

Following this, you'll be required to return to Veliaf, and then head to Drezel in the Paterdomus. Then, from Fenkenstrain's Castle travel towards the south, where you will find Ivan Strom. Another cutscene will take place where Vanescula Drakan pops up and proposes that Myreque congregate with their fellow members for a gathering in the Icyene graveyard.
